MLS Digital’s Suite of Products Continues To See Significant Growth

NEW YORK(May 9, 2013) - Major League Soccer announced today that MLS Digital - with products including MLSsoccer.comand the MLS MatchDay App - is continuing to see progress across its product line, with significant growth in mobile traffic and engagement, as well as MLS LIVE, MLS’ subscription game streaming service. MLS LIVE has increased subscribers by 50 percent year over year.
With a $59.99 subscription, fans have access to more than 230 out-of-market games across multiple digital platforms: computer, iPhone, iPad, Roku, and Panasonic TVs, plus the ability to stream games to Apple TV via Airplay. One subscription provides access on all devices. Much like the other 2013 mobile applications, MLS LIVE has been completely redesigned to provide a sleek new look and enhanced functionality for the current season.

This year for the first time, MLS Digital has partnered with MLS partner el Jimador to launch the "Free Stream of the Week," a sponsored digital game of the week, available each week on
MLS Digital’s free 2013 mobile applications (iPhone, iPad, Android, Windows 8) have been rebuilt to provide enhanced functionality for MLS fans. This new functionality has driven a 30 percent increase in mobile downloads.
